The South Asian International Film Festival (SAIFF) is having its 10th Annual South Asian International Film Festival this week!
SAIFF is the largest film premiere destination for South Asian/Indian filmmakers in the United States. SAIFF was founded in New York City due to the lack of support for many emerging filmmakers and the overall under representation of Indian cinema in a capital that is recognized by the world as the birthplace of independent film making! The Festival is committed to exhibiting films from South Asia (i.e India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Nepal) and within the Indian Diaspora. With a focus on dynamic, visionary cinema, SAIFF annually creates unprecedented exposure for filmmakers and unparallel experiences for its attendees.
And if that wasn’t enough, they paired up with us! Giving us the opportunity to share our story and do drives at their events.
It’s not too late to see one of the films premiering or attend an event! Click here
Thanks to SAIFF and their team for being so supportive and welcoming to MMS and our volunteers. Thanks to Niketa Sheth for thinking of this collaboration and making it happen.
SAIFF and Niki, YOU make us stronger.
