Register and Donate: How does it work?

Registering: It all starts with simple cheek swabs

Registration is now digital! Allowing potential registrants time to educate themselves on the process and help ensure that whoever registers is a committed donor.

Complete your information online and a kit will be mailed directly to you.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to us and we’ll do our best to assist, provide information or direct you to our partner  or our partners.

The chance of finding a matching, committed and available donor based on race:

Multiracial – Less than 23%
Black/African American – 23%
Asian/East Asia – 44%
South Asian – 44%
Hispanic/Latino – 46%
Caucasian – 77%

Donating: A prick of a needle gives you a chance to save a life!

20% of donations are taken from the bone marrow. Anesthesia is given so don’t feel any pain during the process.

80% of donations are taken from your blood. It’s similar to donating blood or giving blood during a physical.
