Tonight something special is happening. And if you’re visiting this page tonight, I’m assuming it’s because you were moved.

A unique party held at Marquee in NYC that fits the spirit of everything we’re talking about at Make Me Stronger.

Awareness. Inclusion. Participation. Engagement.

A party hosted at one of NYC’s premier nightclubs were the cost of admission is being moved to learn more–that’s it. No cost to enter. Great prizes, raffles, and celebrity guests. Open bar. And if, after all is said and done, you’re moved to contribute, you do. No pressure.

To pull something like this off you need to be a person on a mission. Manu is that person. He pulled this event together with little time, with dozens of other events around him, and we’re looking forward to something powerful.

There will be two quick stories told by individuals affected by cancer, directly, as family, and we’ll post more information about those stories after the fact.

In 2014, approximately 1/3 of the 1.6mm new cases of cancer will die. That’s a harsh reality but unfortunately it’s the truth. We hope this wasn’t the case, but unfortunately hoping isn’t enough. We have to ACT! Acting can take various forms. Whether it be digesting the information shared today and educating others, volunteering at a hospital, donating to a cause like ACS, donating blood, registering to be bone marrow donor, or even changing your own habits like diet and managing stress.
